For the 100 year celebration of Hubbard Woods School, our classroom has been assigned the years from 1915 to 1920. Since we did not have many photographs available, we decided to make the following movie to help our fellow students create an image of what it might have been like 100 years ago. We will be sharing this movie next Friday at our Town Hall Meeting.
The school was originally named "Lakeside School", then was named "Skokie School" and finally in 1922 was renamed as "Hubbard Woods School".
Through the blog, the quality of this video is not the best. I will be working on another way to share it with you at a higher quality soon.
Thank you to Katie Hielscher and Todd Burleson for all your help in making this happen.
The kids had a blast! Enjoy.
